ELIZABETH THE SECOND
by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of Our other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith:
TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, GREETING!

WHEREAS by a Royal Charter dated the twenty-seventh day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand nine hundred and fifty-three (hereinafter referred to as “the original Charter”) We were pleased to constitute a body politic and corporate by the name of “The Faculty of Radiologists” with perpetual succession and a Common Seal:

AND WHEREAS We were pleased to grant to the said body a Supplemental Charter (hereinafter referred to as “the First Supplemental Charter”) dated the twelfth day of February in the year of our Lord One thousand nine hundred and seventy-five for the purpose (inter alia) of changing its name to “The Royal College of Radiologists” (hereinafter referred to as “the College”):

AND WHEREAS a Petition has been presented to Us by the College humbly praying that We would be graciously pleased to grant to it a further Supplemental Charter for the purpose (inter alia) of reflecting the growth in the activities undertaken by the College:

NOW THEREFORE KNOW YE that We, having taken the said Petition into Our Royal Consideration of Our especial grace, certain knowledge and mere motion have granted and declared and by these Presents do for Us, Our Heirs and Successors grant and declare as follows:
