Clinical Radiology
Recruitment into Clinical Radiology training posts in England and Wales became centrally coordinated in 2010. In 2010 and 2011 applications, shortlisting and interview offers were centrally coordinated, but interviews were held locally in the deaneries, with candidates being offered interviews in up to two locations.
From 2012 selection was also centralised. Shortlisting was removed from the process and all eligible applicants were offered one interview, held in London. In 2013 Scotland joined the process which led to an increase in overall posts and applications.
Clinical Oncology
Recruitment and selection into Clinical Oncology training posts became centrally coordinated in 2010. In 2010 and 2011 only posts in England and Wales were included. Northern Ireland joined the process in 2012 and Scotland in 2013.
