Multidisciplinary team meetings (MDTMs) form an essential part of the quality assurance process within a radiology service. This document reflects the importance of the radiologist in cancer MDTMs and outlines the requirements necessary for consultant radiologists and radiology departments to maximise the benefit to patients of imaging discussed at MDTMs.
This document is an update of Cancer multidisciplinary team meetings – standards for clinical radiologists (BFCR[05]9) which has now been withdrawn.
